New Brazilian ambassador in Berlin welcomes Janainas board at the embassy

On Wednesday, November 5, the new board of directors of Janainas e.V., composed of Talita Lincoln, Julia Lima, and Valquiria Ferreira, was received by the Brazilian ambassador in Berlin, Rodrigo Baena Soares, in the ambassador's office. Vice-Consul Luciano Magalhães and Minister Adriana Tescari also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, the ambassador reiterated his administration's commitment to the Brazilian community in Germany, especially Brazilian women, who play an active role in the third sector and, according to Consulate data, represent the majority of Brazilians living in Berlin.

The directors presented Janainas's mission and its ongoing projects, with the aim of strengthening cooperation ties between the organization, the Embassy, and the Brazilian Consulate in Berlin. Possible partnerships with the Berlin City Hall were also mentioned, in an initiative that is part of the Embassy's effort to build closer ties with civil organizations that promote support and integration for the Brazilian migrant community in the city.
