After nearly two years leading the Marketing & Communications team at Janainas, consultant Lívia Rangel will conclude her term as coordinator at the end of 2025. During this period, the organisation's digital community has grown consistently, attracting new participants and expanding the organisation's impact.
A specialist in digital transformation, Lívia brought to Janainas a process of modernisation, professionalisation, and expansion of its online presence, coupled with careful and strategic team management. Her work, marked by sensitivity, vision, and commitment, will continue to inspire the team.
Under her leadership, the communications and marketing area achieved significant milestones, including the launch of Janainas' new website with modern and responsive design, the redesign of the newsletter, the renewal of the visual identity across main digital channels, as well as the implementation of agile methodology and new internal processes.

With support from the board of directors, Lívia established Janainas' first volunteer team dedicated to communications and marketing. She also created pioneering crowdfunding campaigns, co-coordinated – alongside consultants Evelyne Leandro and Ligia Fascioni – the InCulture – Arbeitswelten neu denken (InCulture – Rethinking Work Environments) project on DE&I, and expanded the organisation's reach through closer engagement with cultural producers in the Brazilian community and the strengthening of institutional relations with the Brazilian Embassy in Berlin.
From January 2026, Lívia will dedicate herself full-time to her digital marketing company.

However, she remains available to support the team as a voluntary external consultant. Her continued collaboration reflects the bond built and the mutual affection that marked her journey at Janainas. "I am deeply grateful for the trust and partnership built along this path. Every collaborator and volunteer at Janainas carries within them the transformative power of work that goes far beyond what we can measure, and it is this collective dedication that touches lives and transforms the stories of hundreds of migrant women in Berlin (starting with our own stories).
I take with me not only the memories and learnings, but above all the bonds and legacy built collectively in the Marketing & Communications coordination. May Janainas continue to flourish, inspire, and welcome. Long life to this network of affection, courage, and transformation!" says Lívia.

New Coordination
Journalist and institutional communications specialist Adriana Meyge will take over the coordination of the Communications & Marketing area from January 2026. A member of the Janainas team since February 2025, working in content production and fundraising, Adriana continues with the mission of advancing the organisation's new challenges.
